Is CBD Hemp Oil legal?
Yes! It’s not stranger than that, really. But we want to give you a more detailed explanation, because there are a few things we think you should know. Better safe than sorry, right?
The allowed limit for THC in a legal product that comes from industrial hemp is 0.2% in Europe and 0.3% in the US. Hemp products, such as hemp oils and hemp capsules that also contain these small amounts of THC, will show positive results in a drug screening, such as urine and saliva tests. Why is that? Well, THC is stored in the body. If you use a hemp product that contains 0.2% THC or less a few times a week, or every day, then enough THC will be stored in your body to make it appear that you have used drugs.
As you probably understand, this can lead to a long list of unwanted problems. One thing that is good to know is that even though these products contain an amount of THC, it is not enough to make you high. But as mentioned, there is enough to create a lot of unnecessary issues that your life can really do without. Enough with the scare propaganda. How can we get around this, you might ask? We got you covered baby. Look no further.
CBD Hemp products without a trace of THC are totally legal. Of course. This also goes for products containing 0.2% THC (however, this does not apply in Sweden where hemp products containing the smallest traces of THC are classified as drugs).
The difference is that THC-free products do not create any problems. Our products do not even contain small traces of THC. No drug classified substance = no problems. They are legal to buy and use, to give away as gifts or take a swim in. No problems, whatsoever. All our products are totally THC free. So, no THC at all. 0.00000 percent THC. Nada. No tetrahydrocannabinol. No nothing. Got it? Zero THC.
Excuse us, but we really need for you to understand. All our products go through a unique extraction process called Preparative Chromatography. However, the method is not entirely known to our lovely scientists, quite the opposite. It is used, simply explained, to separate individual molecules from, for example, an extract that comes from a natural source, such as hemp.
We have a completely unique process to remove all THC
First, we make an extract using a super critical CO2 extraction, with the utmost care and using low heat so as not to damage any phytocannabinoids or terpenes. Now that the extract, with all its goodies, is finished, we can continue the process. We use Preparative Chromatography to separate all cannabinoids and terpenes. Don’t worry, they will soon be reunited. Now that we have all different phytocannabinoids separated in two “piles”, we throw away all the THC, THCA and THCV. May sound cold-blooded, but we really don’t want any THC. THC simply can’t be in the game anymore. Now that THC is out of the picture, we reunite all the phytocannabinoids and terpenes that we separated in our first extract. Are you following? Good. Soon we will be ready.
Our extract now contains a wide spectrum of cannabinoids completely without THC. And, therefore, correctly called “wide spectrum” and not “full spectrum” as THC is no longer included. However, there are still lipids from various fatty acids, and some chlorophyll that has no real use in the extract. They have been stowaways when we made the extract and only lead to poorer durability in the product, and above all, a really nasty taste. And hello, we sell a product that you eat. Why would we sell a disgusting edible product? Makes no sense. Anyway, how do we remove all the nasty bits?
Well, our extract undergoes something called “winterization”. When this step has concluded, our extract is done. Now we have a completely THC free extract containing a wide spectrum of phytocannabinoids and terpenes. Completely legal, and not detectable on drug tests and it tastes good (well, as good as any extract can). This extract is what we use to our products. Not that complicated, huh?
So, skip all that THC crap and buy completely THC free CBD Hemp products with a wide spectrum of phytocannabinoids and terpenes. You will not regret it.
